Accelovance names Boccia oncology medical director

Accelovance has named Dr. Ralph Boccia, M.D., FACP, oncology medical director.  The Rockville, Md.-based CRO caters to biotech and small/mid-sized pharma sponsors.

Dr. Boccia is a founder and medical director of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.  He also is an active clinical associate professor of medicine at Georgetown University and consulting medical director of the International Oncology Network (ION) Clinical Research Program.

Boccia, join our organization.  His 31 years of practice and clinical research are an asset to the clients we serve as we help define patient populations, study protocols and program approaches," said Stephen J. Trevisan, Accelovance president and CEO.

Dr. Boccia is a board-certified medical oncologist with specialties in internal medicine and hematology.
