DelMar Pharmaceuticals names Bell to board of directors

Vancouver-based DelMar Pharmaceuticals has appointed John K. Bell to the company's board of directors.

Bell is chairman of Onbelay Capital, a Canadian-based private equity firm with principal investments in Telematics and auto parts manufacturing. Previously, he was CEO and owner of Polymer Technologies, an automotive parts manufacturer, and was founder and owner of Shred-Tech Limited, a global manufacturer and supplier of industrial shredders and mobile document shredders.

Bell is a director of BSM Wireless, Strongco and the Royal Canadian Mint. He is national secretary and board member of The Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada, and is past chairman of Waterloo Regional Police, Cambridge Memorial Hospital, Canada's Technology Triangle accelerator network and The Region of Waterloo prosperity counsel.
