Icon Central Laboratories launches iSite portal

Tuesday, November 27, 2012 11:17 AM

Dublin-based CRO Icon has launched iSite, a secure web-based portal that drives efficiency by providing investigators 24-hour access to study-specific laboratory information from Icon Central Laboratories.

iSite allows investigators and other site personnel to access electronic lab reports for their active studies at any time. It includes user-friendly navigation, filtering and report management and provides investigators customised views of reports by study, site, subject or visit date. iSite also includes email alert functionality that notifies investigators when new reports become available.

“We are continuously looking to introduce innovative technology solutions that drive efficiency and improve performance,” said Tom O’Leary, president of Icon Central Laboratories.

A future release of iSite is in development and will provide sites with study-specific performance metrics and customized electronic lab manuals created by Icon’s Firecrest technology.
