ICON adds two to leadership teams in Asia Pacific and Latin America

ICON, a global provider of outsourced development services, has appointed new members to its Asia Pacific & Latin American teams. New members include Wei Ming Goh as vice president of Asia Pacific and Dennis Hurley as vice president of Latin America.

Goh has over 14 years of experience within the CRO industry and a strong track record in Asia Pacific. He joins ICON from Kendle where he served as vice president of Asia Pacific and was responsible for all operational activities and partner relationships within the region. Prior to this, Goh spent 11 years with Quintiles, and held a number of senior management positions in operations and finance for the company’s Asian, Australian and African region. He has also held senior roles in Asia with Autodesk, The Ask Group and Hitachi Data Systems.

Hurley has 30 years’ experience within the drug development industry and joins ICON from INC where, as vice president of Latin America, he was responsible for building the company’s business in the region. Hurley co-founded ECA, Mexico’s largest CRO, in 1992 and expanded it to the five other major countries in Latin America. As well as his operational leadership in clinical development, he has a strong background in biostatistics, process improvement, project management and has contributed significantly to a number of approved NDAs.
