African Clinical Research Organisation (ACRO), the first locally owned, black-empowered full-service contract research organization (CRO) in Johannesburg, South Africa, launched this month.

Quorum Opens IRB Services in Canada with New Board

Sponsors who conduct multicenter clinical trials in the United States typically include some Canadian sites. These projects are often tied into a single North American program. Seeing this trend for many years, Seattle, Wash.-based independent review board (IRB) Quorum Review decided to create a new North American ethics review board capable of offering its clients services for Canadian trials.
