Codexis appoints David O’Toole as CFO

Codexis, a Redwood City, Calif.-based developer of cost-advantaged processes for the production of biofuels, bio-based chemicals and pharmaceuticals, has appointed David O’Toole as senior vice president and CFO.

O’Toole has over 25 years of experience, having served in vice president and CFO roles at both Response Genetics and Abraxis Biosciences. At the former, he managed the finance and accounting department and was responsible for investor relations and information technologies. At the latter, he helped establish operations and successfully launch commercial activities in Europe and China. Prior to Abraxis, O’Tool spent 16 years with the accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, including 12 years as a partner, where he provided international business, operational and tax advice to medium and large multinational companies
