PAREXEL International announces CFO transition

PAREXEL International, a global bio/pharmaceutical services organization, announced that James F. Winschel, Jr., senior vice president and CFO, will transition to the position of executive vice president at PAREXEL upon appointment of a new CFO. 

A search for Winschel's successor is currently underway, and both internal and external candidates are being considered. Winschel will continue to serve as CFO until his successor is appointed and will then help facilitate a smooth transition of financial leadership of the company.  Winschel plans to retire in 2014.

 "Jim has made many significant contributions to PAREXEL during his 12 years with the company, and has played an important role in helping the company to become a leading global biopharmaceutical services organization," said Josef von Rickenbach, chairman and CEO of PAREXEL. "I look forward to working with Jim in his new role, and I know that the company will continue to benefit from his significant financial expertise and industry knowledge."
