Thursday, August 2, 2012 09:48 AM

Clinical Resource Network (CRN), a global provider of in-home and alternate-site clinical services to patients in clinical trials, has changed its name to Symphony Clinical Research.

According to the company, the new name more accurately reflects its strategic value in successfully orchestrating all of the protocol, patient and logistical factors associated with planning and conducting in-home and alternative-site based clinical trial visits to meet regulatory guidelines and ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP).

“The name, Symphony Clinical Research signifies a new stage for our organization which has experienced tremendous growth and achieved remarkable accomplishments since its founding in 2003,” said Nicki Norris, CEO of Symphony Clinical Research. “Our new name reflects our attention to quality and process, providing an innovative clinical service that allows the pharmaceutical and device industry worldwide to reach the intent-to-treat pool, accommodate debilitated patients and retain study participants all while completing trials on time.”

Immediate steps to launch the new name for the company include the release of a new website, an R&D operations newsletter and presentations at clinical industry conferences throughout the year.
