HeartWare names Peter F. McAree as CFO

HeartWare International, a developer of less invasive, miniaturized circulatory support technologies for treatment of advanced heart failure, has appointed Peter F. McAree as senior vice president, CFO and Treasurer

McAree brings more than 25 years of financial management and public accounting experience to HeartWare International. He most recently served as senior vice president and CFO at Caliper Life Sciences, prior to the company's acquisition by PerkinElmer in November, 2011. McAree also served as CFO of Zymark prior to the company's merger with Caliper in 2003. 

Outside the pharmaceutical and medical device industry, McAree has served in many financial leadership positions, including Arthur Andersen and Enterprise Group.
