Trophos appoints Christine Placet as CEO

Trophos, a French clinical stage pharmaceutical company developing therapeutics for under-served needs in neurology and cardiology, has appointed Christine Placet as chief executive officer.

Placet has served as CFO of Trophos since 2004 and has over 25 years of experience. She becomes CEO under a previously defined internal succession plan designed to provide continuity for Trophos. Prior to joining Trophos, Placet served as CFO in a number of growing companies and start-ups in various industries, and worked as an auditor for eight years for Ernst & Young.
