Quintiles names Tom Pike CEO

Quintiles, a global biopharmaceutical services company, has appointed Tom Pike as CEO effective April 30 as part of the company’s long-term succession planning. 

Pike brings 30 years of experience to Quintiles, spanning a variety of industries and leading companies. He spent 22 years at Accenture in leadership roles in the company’s North America health and products business areas, as well as in global chief operating officer and chief strategy officer positions. Since leaving Accenture in 2010, Pike has been involved with a number of start-ups in the technology and healthcare sectors. 

“Tom has an impressive track record of helping customers navigate fast-changing environments and solving complex business issues,” said Dennis Gillings chairman on Quintiles. “He has experience with organizations our size and much larger that will be extremely valuable to us.”
