INC Research, a CRO based in Raleigh, N.C., will be closing its Old Lyme office in Connecticut, laying off 66 employees in the process, according to the filing at the State of Connecticut Labor Department.

The closure comes almost a year after INC Research acquired the office through Kendle International and will go into effect on July 31, 2012. Layoffs will begin two months prior. The remaining 15 employees not let go are likely to work from home, according to The Day.

INC Research has not made an official comment yet.
