Astellas names Kremer senior VP of global medical affairs

Tokyo-based Astellas Pharma has named Charlotte M. E. Kremer, M.D., senior vice president of Global Medical Affairs (GMA), one of the company's newest organizations.

She will provide global leadership for medical excellence and a unified medical perspective across regions for Astellas' portfolio of global products.

Kremer has 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Most recently, she was a vice president at Pfizer, and previously she held positions of increasing responsibility Organon Pharmaceuticals (in the Netherlands and the U.S.).

She will be based at Astellas' U.S. headquarters in Deerfield, Ill.
