ACRP names new academy trustees

The Academy of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) has appointed the following individuals to serve as members of the Academy Board of Trustees for a one-year term of office as of Jan. 1, 2012:

Jeannine Bayard, BSN, MPH (third year on the board) is the founder and past president/CEO of EverCare, a company that provides enhanced, personalized medical care for nursing home residents through geriatric medical teams. Bayard worked for United HealthCare for 17 years before retiring, but still consults in the areas of medical delivery of managed care and geriatrics.

Kelly Craig, MA, BAS, APMR, CCRA (first year on the board) has more than 25 years of research experience as a study coordinator, clinical research associate and project manager in a vast array of therapeutic areas, including HIV/AIDS, metabolic, CNS and immunology. Craig is currently the leader of clinical trial operations at Boehringer Ingelheim Canada.

Dennis DeRosia, PA, BS, MA, CCRA (third year on the board) has over 30 years of combined experience in the medical field and clinical research industry with a focus on clinical operations and business development. DeRosia is currently with the Profil Institute for Clinical Research and has served as chairman of the board of trustees for the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

Susan Warne, LVN, CCRC (first year on the board) has over 19 years of clinical research experience with over eight years as a project manager at an SMO. Warne has served as a member of the ACRP’s CRC certification exam committee and is currently working as a strategic site relationships manager for a CRO.

ACRP’s eight-member board of trustees is charged with establishing strategic direction of the organization, defining global certification standards and ensuring the certification program reflects current practice standards. It is comprised of members from a diverse set of professional backgrounds carefully chosen to represent the interests of the Academy's global membership.
