BioNano names Monroe CFO

BioNano Genomics has named Garth Monroe chief financial officer. Monroe will report to president and chief executive officer Dr. R. Erik Holmlin.

Prior to joining BioNano Genomics, Monroe served as CFO for Epocal, a medical device company. Monroe previously served as station manager for JetBlue Airways and a financial analyst at United Technologies.

"Bringing Garth aboard is the next step in the evolution of BioNano Genomics as a solution provider for researchers who want to fully understand the biology of the genomes at the core of their research," said BioNano Genomics president and CEO Dr. R. Erik Holmlin.
