Axio Research, a North American independent data coordinating center, has expanded its services into Shanghai, China.

“Offering independent safety and/or efficacy clinical events analysis for our clients, when and where they need the work performed, is part of what Axio offers to our clients,” said Lee Hooks, CEO.  “As a leader in Data Monitoring Committee Services as well as Clinical Event Committees, we have seen increased demand for our services and delivered an improved research value for our clients as they make the most informed decisions possible for placement of their research and development dollars.”

Kent Koprowicz, head of biostatistics, said “China-based organizational meetings are relatively new to most of our clients and the industry.  Our expert and diverse Chinese speaking staff enable us to deliver effective communications and planning supporting organizational meetings, safety and efficacy analysis reporting, and software programming for China-based committees.”

Axio Research’s lead biostatistician and project director will serve in lead roles with the client’s global teams. They will jointly schedule turnaround times for interim analysis and final reports and oversee the project charter.
