Sequenom names Huang to ophthalmology advisory board

Sequenom, a life sciences company providing innovative genetic analysis solutions, has named Suber Huang, M.D., to its ophthalmology clinical advisory board.

Huang is president of the American Society of Retina Specialists and has served on the Steering Committee for the National Eye Health Education Program, an advisory board to the National Eye Institute/National Institutes of Health.

"We welcome Dr. Huang to our advisory board as we continue to advance genetic technologies in the retinal specialty," said Ronald M. Lindsay, Ph.D., executive vice president, research and development at Sequenom. "His renowned expertise in this specialty and appreciation for the advancement of novel technologies that can help improve patient care will contribute significantly to our advisory team."
