Genelux names Mackey to board of directors

Genelux, a privately held clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, has named Dr. Catherine J. Mackey to its board of directors.

Dr. Mackey is the founder and CEO of MindPiece Partners, a management consulting firm, and the former senior vice president of worldwide research and development for Pfizer. She has 28 years of experience in the life science industry.

"Her 28 years of industry experience will be a valuable asset, particularly as we advance the Genelux product pipeline into later stage trials and prepare the company for the next stage of growth. Dr. Mackey's executive experience within a world class pharmaceutical R&D organization will help us to preserve the core of scientific innovation that has characterized Genelux Corporation. I am honored to welcome Catherine Mackey as our third outside director,” said Aladar A. Szalay, chairman and chief executive officer.
