Roche names president of Ventana Medical Systems

Ventana Medical Systems, a member of the Roche Group, has named Mara Aspinall president. Aspinall will begin her new role at Ventana in September 2011.

Aspinall was most recently founder, president, and CEO of On-Q-ity, a start-up diagnostics company focused on circulating tumor cell technology. She also spent twelve years with Genzyme where she held senior leadership roles such as president of genetics and president of pharmaceuticals.
