PharmaNet names VP of bioanalytical services

PharmaNet Development Group has named George Scott, Ph.D., vice president, bioanalytical services.

Scott will lead PharmaNet's GLP-compliant bioanalytical laboratories in the U.S. and Canada. He will build on PharmaNet's bioanalytical method development, validation and sample analysis services across the continuum of drug development and lead PharmaNet's geographical and service expansion strategies in bioanalysis.

He previously served as director of pharmacokinetics and drug metabolism at Amgen, where he was responsible for overseeing the immunochemistry and small molecule bioanalytical capabilities.
