RadPharm Appoints new CIO

RadPharm appointed Steven F. Owens to the newly created position of chief information officer. In this role, Owens will provide leadership to IT and development projects that enhance RadPharm’s technical capabilities and business processes. Before joining RadPharm, Owens was senior director of R&D at the Center for Imaging and Innovation.

In other personnel news, US Oncology named Stephen Smith vice president/general manager, Research and Personalized Science Services. Smith will oversee the Houston, Tx.-based company’s US Oncology Research Network, which provides research management services to oncology practices and sites. US Oncology is affiliated with 1,247 physicians in 472 locations, including 91 radiation oncology facilities in 39 states.
