Vince & Associates Clinical Research expands

Thursday, April 21, 2011 12:33 PM

Kansas-based Vince & Associates Clinical Research, a provider of phase I-IV clinical trial services to the global biopharmaceutical industry, has opened a 90-bed clinical pharmacology research unit.

The design delivers a hotel-type experience for the study volunteers and a scientific research setting for the biopharmaceutical industry. Bedside 20-inch touch screen entertainment systems, in-house theater room, and individually themed suites are some of the amenities for the study volunteers.

“We provide full technical resources for phase I/IIa Proof of Concept (POC) studies which incorporate a single ascending dose (SAD), multiple ascending dose (MAD) and a patient proof of concept study into a single protocol.”

Vince and Associates has also invested in facilities such as a USP 797-compliant Biosafety cabinet and full time pharmacy staff. This investment allows for sterile preparation from client’s API to be compounded on site as well as full capability to prepare drug extemporaneously, a common requirement for these early clinical trials.
