PharmaTimes launches 2015 Clinical Researcher of the Year competition

Wednesday, October 29, 2014

The 2015 PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year-The Americas competition is open for entry. All research professionals are encouraged to enter.

The competition offers a unique opportunity for clinical research to showcase its most talented people while providing a rewarding experience for research professionals who have worked hard to achieve expert levels in their field.

Entrants compete head-to-head in real-life challenges devised by senior clinical directors from top pharma companies including GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi, AstraZeneca, ShireMerck and Alcon. Entrants have a rare chance to step outside their comfort zone and stack their skills set against their peers in real-time.

According to a previous winner, “From step one in the competition where you are tested on the basics of ICH/GCP knowledge, through critical thinking and idea capture in the essays, to timed scenario solutions and presentation, to question and answer periods, to being able to take part in hot industry topic discussions, every aspect of the experience was beneficial and helped me grow as an individual in the industry.”

PharmaTimes Clinical Researcher of the Year-The Americas is organized by PharmaTimes Media and is supported by professional organizations including ACRP and CenterWatch, as well as an executive steering committee comprising senior pharma and CRO representatives.

Entries must be received by Nov. 30, 2014. The finals day and awards evening will take place Feb. 26, 2015, in Cary, N.C. To enter go to www.clinicalresearcher.americas.com, contact Gill Chalk at gillc@pharmatimes.com or phone +44 (0)20 7240 6999 or +44 (0)7786 216648.
