For over six decades, the Kidney & Urology Foundation of America, Inc. has dedicated itself to funding research and meaningful programs that touch people and save lives, educating patients and health care providers and identifying at-risk individuals in our communities. KUFA's funding has supported world-renowned nephrology and urology specialists and has educated family doctors who provide care to thousands of families in this country. The Foundation has helped make dialysis widely available to all who need it, helped bring many kidney diseases under control and facilitated in making organ transplants more successful and more accessible to those in need. KUFA leads in the fight against prostate cancer and as forerunners in the early detection and treatment of kidney and urologic diseases. The Foundation will continue to make research and resources accessible to patients, to their families and to their caregivers, and will measure its success by its ability to respond meaningfully and personally to the public.
