About Clinical Trial Participation and Medical Information

Can CenterWatch help me diagnose a medical condition or answer a medical question for me?

Unfortunately, no. CenterWatch does not have medical personnel on staff and therefore cannot offer medical advice or diagnose conditions. However, organizations which may be able to assist you are listed in the Patient Resources section of our web site

How do I find clinical trials to participate in?

You can search the clinical trials listed on our web site. They are listed by medical condition, therapeutic area, and location. You can also sign up for our free Patient Notification Service, which will email you information on trials as soon as they are posted.

Do you conduct clinical trials at CenterWatch?

No. CenterWatch reports on the clinical trials industry and posts clinical trials on our web site; however we do not conduct clinical trials. For more information about our company, please read the About CenterWatch section of our web site.

Can CenterWatch notify me when new trials are available that I am interested in?

Yes. If you sign up for our free Patient Notification Service you will automatically receive emails as soon as a clinical trial is posted that matches the medical and geographic area you specify.

Can CenterWatch help me spread news about my company?

Yes. Send news about your clinical trials company to our editorial team at editorial@centerwatch.com and they will determine if it’s appropriate for any of our publications.

Can CenterWatch profile my company's executive in CWWeekly?

Yes. If your company's executive has not already been profiled in CWWeekly, please send your request to our editorial team at editorial@centerwatch.com for evaluation. Due to the high volume of requests, we may not be able to respond. However, if we determine that your company will be profiled in an upcoming issue, an editor will contact you to set up an interview. Please also consider posting a Research Center Profile or Industry Provider Profile Page on our web site.

How can I subscribe to one of your publications?

You can subscribe online at our store, via email at sales@centerwatch.com, or by calling (866) 219-3440.

Do you offer group or corporate subscriptions?

Yes. Both group and corporate subscriptions are available for all CenterWatch publications. For more information and pricing, please email sales@centerwatch.com or call (866) 219-3440.

Do you offer electronic versions of your publications?

Yes. The CenterWatch Monthly, the CWWeekly, and Research Practitioner are all available on our digital platform. To place a new order in this format via our online store, simply indicate your choice at the top of the page of the publication you are purchasing. If you would like to change your existing subscription from print to digital, please email customerservice@centerwatch.com.

How quickly will I receive my order?

If the shipping destination for your order is within the continental U.S., it should arrive within 10 business days, however some orders may take longer including shipments to destinations outside the continental U.S. Express shipping may be available for an additional fee. To obtain rates for international or express shipping, please call (866) 219-3440 or email customerservice@centerwatch.com. To check on the status of your order, please email customerservice@centerwatch.com.

How do I receive my order faster than 10 business days?

If you would like to have your order shipped to you in less than 10 business days; please call (866) 219-3440 or email customerservice@centerwatch.com. Shipping fees will be applied, Do not place your order prior to calling.

What is your return policy?

Subscriptions to CWWeekly and The CenterWatch Monthly cancelled within 30 days of purchase date will receive a full refund. Subscriptions cancelled after 30 days of purchase date will receive a pro-rated refund for all issues not yet mailed.

Subscriptions to Research Practitioner cancelled within 60 days of purchase date will receive a full refund. Subscriptions cancelled after 60 days of purchase date will receive a pro-rated refund for all issues not yet mailed.

Print copies of our books, pamphlets, and SOPs returned within 20 days of purchase date, in their original condition (shrink-wrapped products, such as CDs, must be sealed and unopened) will receive a refund of the purchase price to the original form of payment. Books, pamphlets and SOPs returned after 20 days of purchase date or in less than original condition will not receive refunds.

Electronic or digital versions of our single copy publications, books or SOPs, cannot be returned for a refund after the files have been emailed unless they are found to be corrupt.

I didn't receive an issue of my subscription - what should I do?

Please email customerservice@centerwatch.com. If you did not receive an issue of Research Practitioner, please note that it is a bi-monthly publication and ships every other month. If you did not receive an issue of CWWeekly, please note that it is not published the last two weeks of the calendar year.

How can I renew my subscription?

If you received a renewal notice in the mail, please return the completed form with check in the enclosed envelope. If you prefer to renew online, visit the Renewals section of our Store or please call (866) 219-3440.

Do you offer discounts to current subscribers?

Yes. In addition to quantity discounts that are available for most of our publications, subscribers to The CenterWatch Monthly who also sign up for a Research Center Profile enjoy free set-up of this online resource—a $275 value. Throughout the year, other special offers may be available. Watch your email for details.

*Do we still send marketing promotions via standard mail?

Which CenterWatch products offer ANCC contact hours and CME hours?

Research Practitioner and Protecting Study Volunteers in Research offer continuing education credit. Both can be ordered online in our store.

  • Research Practitioner is a bi-monthly publication that offers up to 18 ANCC contact hours each year. Each issue contains a test that can be taken online.
  • Protecting Study Volunteers in Research is a paperback manual through which readers can apply for 6.75 CME hours. The book includes an exam that must be submitted by mail.

How do I complete the Research Practitioner post-test and receive my certification for ANCC contact hours?

To receive contact hours, participants must register, view the content, complete the evaluation, and successfully complete the post-test with a minimum score of 70%. Certificates will be available electronically after successful completion of the activity.

Note: If you are completing a test from an issue older than one year, these tests have expired.

Post-tests
For instructions and information to complete the post-test and evaluation, please visit the Tufts Online Continuing Education Tracker. To go directly to the registration page, please visit http://thci.org/ResearchPractitioner/register.aspx. You will need your subscriber/account number.

I do not know my subscriber/account number to register online for the Research Practitioner post-test to receive ANCC contact hours.

How do I find Sponsors or CROs who are looking for investigative sites?

You can sign up for TrialWatch for Sites.
Our Grant Notification Service is a FREE resource for investigative sites and site networks interested in securing clinical research grants. Submit your information online and your site / site network profile is stored in a database and is regularly run against sponsor or CRO requests for qualified investigators with expertise in specific therapeutic areas and disease specialties. If a match is found, your site information will be provided to the sponsor or CRO for consideration.

You can sign up for TrialWatch for Sponsors and CROs.
TrialWatch is a complimentary site identification service designed to quickly and effectively match sponsors and CROs with qualified investigative sites worldwide to conduct upcoming and active phase I through phase IV clinical trials.

How can I subscribe to the Drugs in Clinical Trials Database?

You can subscribe online at our store, listed under Drug Information, or email Sales at sales@centerwatch.com or call 617-948-5110.

Why isn't a specific drug in your Drugs in Clinical Trials Database?

The Drugs in Clinical Trials Database contains only drugs that meet specific criteria listed here. If you find a drug that meets these criteria and it is not in our database, please email drugintel@centerwatch.com and we will research the drug. If it is appropriate, we will add it to the database within three business days and notify you via email.

How can I purchase a Research Center Profile or an Industry Provider Profile Page?

To purchase a profile page, please email sales@centerwatch.com or call (866) 219-3440.

How can I change/update information on my Profile Page?

Please email your detailed changes to support@centerwatch.com and include your company name as it appears on your profile. If your changes are extensive, please copy and paste your profile into a Word document and select the Track Changes feature located under the review tab before making your edits. When you complete your edits, please email the document to support@centerwatch.com. Once we receive your request, we will make the updates within two business days and will notify you via email when the changes are posted to your Profile Page.

How can I post new trials on my company's Research Center Profile Page?

To post new trials, please complete a Clinical Trials Submission Form for each trial.

Why aren't the links to my trial listings on my Profile Page?

To determine the specific reason, please:

  1. Verify that each trial listing was submitted.
  2. Confirm that the listings that are posted on your Profile Page were posted through your account and not through another account such as a sponsor’s.
  3. Check the research center name on your Profile Page against the name on your trial listings—they must be identical.
  4. Contact support@centerwatch.com to implement corrections or for further assistance.

My company is a sponsor or CRO—how can I post my patient recruitment listings on the Clinical Trials Listing Service?

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via credit card, check, or wire transfer. To pay by credit card, please call (866) 219-3440. To pay by wire transfer, please email billing@centerwatch.com to obtain our bank information.

How can I obtain a copy of my invoice?

How can I change my company's billing or shipping address?
