General Information

REPRONEX, the generic equivalent of Pergonal, has been approved for the treatment of infertility. REPRONEX is a human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG), administered by intramuscular injection. Ferring has received FDA clearance to market REPRONEX for sequential use with human chorionic gonadotripin (hCG) in induction of ovulation and pregnancy in anovulatory infertile patients, and for stimulating the development of multiple follicles in ovulatory patients participating in an in vitro fertilization (IVF) program.

REPRONEX is also indicated for concomitant use with hCG for the stimulation of spermatogenesis in men who have primary or secondary hypogonadotropic hypogonadism.
