Trial Information
A research study of an investigational medication for Primary Insomnia.
This is a research study to evaluate the safety and
effectiveness of an investigational medication for Primary
Insomnia. This study will last for a little more than one year and
will consist of 14 visits to the office.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- Women must be non-pregnant, non-nursing, and using an
acceptable form of birth control.
You must have insomnia.
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- Women must not be currently pregnant or plan to become pregnant
within the next year.
- You must not be currently using any illegal substances.
- You must not be working rotating or night shifts.
- You must not have a history of any sleep disorders such as
restless leg syndrome, sleep apnea, narcolepsy, breathing - related
sleep disorder, hypersomnia or other chronic medical condition that
affects sleep.
- You must not have a history of any psychiatric disorders.
- You must not have been diagnosed with epilepsy or
seizures.
- You must not have been tested positive for Hepatitis B or
C.
