St. Petersburg, FL - Post Herpetic Neuralgia
Do you continue to have pain from Shingles? (Postherpetic Neuralgia) In most cases, pain from shingles goes away after the rash heals. Sometimes, however, the pain persists-this is a condition called postherpetic neuralgia. If you are an adult who had shingles more than 6 months ago but still have pain, you may be eligible to participate in a clinical research study. Study medication and study related procedures will be provided at no cost. Please contact Dr. Margarita Nunez and the CNS Clinical Trials study staff in St. Petersburg at 727-576-8474.
