Trial Information
Acute Sinusitis Study. Do you need an antibiotic for a sinus infection causing facial pain and colored nasal drainage?
The study requires 5 visits over a 36 day period. Sinus x-rays
and lab work will be done at no expense. A sinus culture will be
obtained at the first visit. Study antibiotic will be provided
along with compensation for time and travel.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 18 years or older
- Symptoms must be present for less than 28 days
- Must have colored nasal or post-nasal drainage
- Cheek and/or upper teeth pain
- No previous sinus surgery
