Neutrophil-induced endothelial barrier dysfunction
The purpose of this study is to isolate neutrophils from human peripheral blood in order to study their effects on the vascular endothelial barrier, with an ultimate goal to develop new therapies for inflammatory infection/injury.

Whole blood will be collected from healthy adult volunteers between the ages of 18-65 years and weighing at least 110lbs.
Blood will not be collected from pregnant women or minors, subjects who disclose an infectious disease (i.e. HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C), autoimmune disease, or blood disorder, or subjects weighing less than 110lbs.
