Trial Information

12 week study for patients with COPD

The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness of treatment with Respimat and Spiriva compared to Spiriva alone on lung function in patients with COPD.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Age 40+
  • Current or ex-smokers with at least a 10 year pack smoking history

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Patients who use oxygen therapy for more than 1 hour each day (oxygen during night is allowed)
  • Heart attack within the past year
  • Malignancy within the past 5 years
