Trial Information

Chronic Heart Failure

The study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of both aliskiren monotherapy and aliskiren/enalapril combination therapy as compared to enalapril monotherapy, on morbidity and mortality in patients with chronic heart failure NYHA Class II - IV.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • 18 years and older
  • Patients with a diagnosis of chronic heart failure NYHA Class II-IV
  • LVEF < 35% at visit 1
  • Elevated BNP at visit 1
  • You must be treated with a ACE for at least 4 weeks prior to screening
  • Other protocol specific inclusion/exclusion criteria apply

If you qualify you will receive Investigational Product and study related medical care at no charge to you. Additionally you will be reimbursed for time and travel.
