Trial Information

A Randomized, Double-Bllind, Placebo-Controlled, Flexible-Dose, Parallel-Group Study of Lurasidone Adjunctive to Lithium or Divalproex for the Prevention of Recurrence in Subjects with BiPolar I Disorder

Individuals 18 and older with Type I Bipolar Disorder. Qualified participants receive study related care and study medication at no charge. Participants may receive compensation for time and travel up to $1120.00.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Bipolar Type I
  • Depressed, Mixed or Manic
  • May be currently treated with Lithium or Depakote

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Cancer within past 5 years
  • Active seizure disorder
  • Active Hepatitis
  • Alcohol or substance abuse or dependence within 12 months
  • Type I Diabetes
  • Insulin Dependent Diabetics
  • Participated in a study within 6 months
