Diarrhea Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome

We are currently seeking men and women between the ages of 18 and 80 to participate in an investigational research study to test the effectiveness of a medication that is being used for patients with diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome.

Qualified participants will receive all study-related medical care and study medication at no charge. Eligible participants may be compensated for time and travel.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Patients must be between the ages of 18 and 80.
  • Patients must have loose stools over 25% of the time.
  • Female patients must be surgically sterile, postmenopausal, abstinent, or use contraceptives.
  • If the patient is over 50, a colonoscopy within the last 5 years is required.
