Asthma Research

Purpose

Health Research of Hampton Roads (HRHR) is currently conducting a research study comparing the safety of two established investigational asthma therapies.

If you or your child are age 12 or older with persistent asthma, you may be eligible to participate.

Qualified participants will receive study-related medication, physical exam, at no cost, plus compensation for completed study visits.

Must be available over 27 weeks for 5 office visits and 5 phone calls.

You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • are 12 years of age or older; and
  • are currently taking Prednisone for the treatment of asthma or have been hospitalized for over 24 hours in the past 365 days.
