Trial Information

Study of Moderate to Severe Bladder Pain (Interstitial Cystitis)

Wake Research Associates is conducting a research study testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication for women with moderate to severe bladder pain. Eligible volunteers receive at no cost: Study-related medicine, study-related medical exams and compensation up to $385 for time and travel expenses.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
Eligible women must be aged 18-80, and experience the following symptoms: Pelvic pain, pressure or discomfort of the bladder, increased frequency of urination, experiencing the symptoms over the past six months, with the symptoms being present the majority of the time over the past three months.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:
Under age 18, over age 80, does not experience bladder pain, or symptoms are not present the majority of the time over the past three months
