Research Study for Adults with COPD_680/691

Do you have difficulty breathing?

If you or a loved one has or thinks they may have emphysema, chronic bronchitis or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, also known as COPD, we invite you to learn more about a clinical research study taking place in your area. This research study is testing an investigational drug for reducing lung and heart complications in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, also known as COPD.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
You may qualify for this study if you:

  • Have a diagnosis of moderate COPD (sometimes called emphysema or chronic bronchitis)
  • Have a history or risk of heart disease
  • Are 40 to 80 years of age
  • Are a former or current cigarette smoker

Other requirements must also be met prior to study participation. Study participants will receive study drug and study-related medical care at no cost. Reimbursement for time and travel may be provided.
