Migraine Headaches in Teens and Adolescents

Does your adolescent or teen have migraines? He or she may qualify for a clinical research study of an investigational medication for migraines. Qualified participants will be aged 12-17 have had migraine headaches for more than a year, which last more than four hours if left untreated, and are more than 24 hours apart.

Eligible volunteers receive at no cost:

  • Study-related medicine
  • Study-related medical exams
  • Compensation up to $125 for time and travel

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Ages 12-17, migraine headaches for more than one year, more than four hours in duration of untreated, more than 24 hours apart.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Under age 12, over age 17, does not have migraine headaches, headaches do not last four hours, are less than 24 hours apart
