Pediatrics - Type 2 Diabetes

Winthrop University Hospital Clinical Trials Center is conducting a clinical research study for participants (ages 10-17 years old), who have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The purpose of this research study is to test the safety and effectiveness of an oral investigational drug to lower blood sugar in Pediatric Type 2 diabetes. Eligible participants will receive study-related medical examinations, research medication and laboratory tests at no cost, while they are participating in this research study. Compensation may be provided for time and travel.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
To be eligible for the study, you must:

  • Be 10 -17 years old
  • Be diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
