Major Depressive Disorder and Sexual Dysfunction

Many commonly prescribed antidepressant medications may have sexual side effects such as lack of interest in sex.

Our clinic is conducting a study to better understand the effects on sexual functioning of an investigational new medication when compared with a new medication. We are looking for people interested in participating in this clinical research study.

This clinical research study will involve around 440 participants at about 70 sites in the US and Canada.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
You may be eligible to participate if you:

  • Are 18-55 years old
  • Are currently taking Celexa® (citalopram), Paxil® (paroxetine), or Zoloft® (sertraline) and your depression is well controlled.
  • Are experiencing sexual side effects thought to be caused by your antidepressant medication
