Trial Information

An Open-Label, Dose-Escalation, Phase 1/2 Study of the Oral Formulation of MLN9708 Administered Twice-weekly in Combination with Lenalidomide and Dexamethasone in Patients with Newly Diagnosed Multiple Myeloma Requiring Systemic Treatment

The purpose of this study is to identify any side effects with the study drug combination (MLN9708, Lenalidomide, and low-dose Dexamethasone) when MLN9708 is given at different doses. The study is also trying to find out the effects, good and/or bad the study drug combination has on your type of cancer. The length of time you will be in the study will depend upon how you are feeling, how well you tolerate the study drug combination and how your disease responds to the study drug combination. You can continue receiving the study drug combination for up to 16 cycles (a cycle lasts 21 days) depending on how your body responds. If you are responding to therapy you could continue to receive MLN9708 alone as long as your disease continues to respond to it. After your treatment on this study is over you will continue to be followed indefinitely.
