Partial Epilepsy

Adults with Partial Epilepsy are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Abington Neurologic Associates.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are male or female 16 to 70 years of age
  • Have medical history of seizures
  • Have absence of confounding factors (pseudoseizures, syncope)
  • Have documented EEG recording (done within 5 years prior to screening, showing the absence of a structural abnormality (e.g. tumor or malformation)

Patient Exclusion Criteria:
You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have current seizures related to an acute medical illness
  • Have a seizures secondary to metabolic, toxic or infectious disorder or drug abuse
  • Have seizures only occurring in a cluster pattern
  • Had suicidal intent in the month prior to screening
