Research Study for Type 2 Diabetes

Dr. David Podlecki is now accepting volunteers for a clinical research study of investigational long acting insulin for individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. The purpose of the research study is to see how safe and how well an investigational insulin works to help people with Type 2 Diabetes. The study provides: all study related exams, study medication, glucose monitoring equipment and supplies, compensation for time and travel.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Type 2 diabetes, diagnosed for at least 1 year and treated with at least one insulin injection per day
  • Willing to adhere to a schedule of multiple insulin injections per day
  • Have an HbA1c between 7% and 12%

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Other serious or uncontrolled medical conditions
