Trial Information

A Phase II Study of Brentuximab Vedotin as Salvage Therapy for Hodgkin Lymphoma Prior to Autologous Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have Hodgkin Lymphoma that is no longer responding or never responded to your first treatment. The purpose of this research study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of brentuximab vedotin before autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant (return to the research participant of previously collected immature blood cells). A second purpose is to see if treatment with brentuximab vedotin has any effect on the collection of stem cells from the research participant’s blood. Tumor samples from standard of care biopsies or surgeries will be obtained for laboratory tests to study the effect of the drug on tumor cells. Your treatment on this study is expected to last for four cycles (21 days) of therapy or approximately 12 weeks. After your treatment on this study is over, your medical condition will continue to be followed for three weeks.
