A Phase I Study of an MVA Vaccine Targeting P53 in Cancer

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have an advanced cancer that is not responsive to standard therapies. The purpose of this research study is to determine the highest of two possible dose levels of the experimental cancer vaccine MVAp53 that can be given before unacceptable side effects are seen. Your participation in this study includes six weeks for a series of injections followed by periodic evaluations up to 12 months after you began participation. After these 12 months are over, your medical condition will be followed indefinitely.
