Trial Information

Do you have Type 2 Diabetes?

Participants 18 and older are needed for a research study of an investigational medication to see if it helps to improve blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • Must have a HbA1c 7-12%
  • Must be on a glucose lowering regimen that contains at least one shot of insulin per day.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Had two or more emergency room visits or hospitalization due to poor glucose control within the past 6 months.
  • Have heart disease.
  • Had a history of kidney transplantation or are currently receiving kidney dialysis or have abnormal kidney function.
