Ulcerative Colitis - Children

Children with Ulcerative Colitis are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:
Your child may be eligible to participate in this study if he/she:

  • Is between the age of 5 and 17
  • Has a history of ulcerative colitis
  • Has adequate written and oral fluency in English (for both parent and child)

Patient Exclusion Criteria:
Your child may not participate in this study if he/she:

  • Has proctitis only
  • Has a mental disability (for both parent and child)
  • Has moderate or severe kidney or liver impairment
