Trial Information

Schizophrenia Outpatient Clinical Research Study

The purpose of the research is to test safety and efficacy and effectiveness of an investigational drug and to determine its effect on weight gain compared to patients taking Abilify. Patients may require initiation or modification to current antipsychotic treatment. Participation in the study would be expected to last a total of 52 weeks.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Must be 18-65 years of age with a diagnosis of Schizophrenia

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • No Abilify use in the last two months
  • No drug or alcohol abuse in the last 3 months prior to Visit 1
  • No unstable medical condition
  • No hepatitis or seizure history
