Diagnosed with Hypertension

To assess the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of 8 weeks of therapy with nebivolol in comparison to placebo in younger patients 18 - 54 years of age with stage 1 or stage 2 essential hypertension

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Have a documented diastolic blood pressure of ≥ 90

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Taking more than 2 HTN meds
  • Have a allergy to beta blockers
  • Uncontrolled medical disease or condition
  • Have a history of kidney or liver disease
