Clostridium difficile infection (C-Diff)

Winthrop University Hospital Clinical Trials Center is seeking volunteers who have been diagnosed with Clostridium difficile infection, which is an infection and is willing to participant in a research study to test the safety and effectiveness of a an investigational medication comparing it with an FDA approved drug. Your participation will last up to 1 ½ months and there is no placebo involved in this study.

Eligible participants will receive study-related medications and study related visits at no cost to them and they do not need health insurance to participate in the study.

  • Male or female aged 18 to 80
  • Diagnosed with primary episode or first relapse of moderate C. difficile infection
